Wilma Agnes Erbelding

Wilma Agnes Erbelding, 89, passed away on May 6, 2012 in Baton Rouge, LA. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Holder officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until time of service.

Wilma was a native of Oberlin and a long-time Sulphur resident. She was a homemaker and also worked for many years at West Calcasieu Printing Office. Wilma was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur.

Wilma is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie Knighten Miller and husband, Archie and Phyllis Knighten Ratliff McKee both of Baton Rouge, LA; step-son, Fritz Gerald Erbelding and wife, Theresa of Lumberton, TX; two sisters, Gladys Estiponal and Verna Duplechain both of Oberlin, LA; sister-in-law, Jackie Hebert of Oberlin, LA; ten grandchildren, Scott Drost, Staci Overton, Darin Miller, Richard Joe Miller, Dawn Heath, Davie Ratliff, Jimi Erbelding, Jaime Allen, Brenda Shackleford, and Michelle Lauve; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Melvin Knighten of Columbia, LA; her second husband, Frederick John Erbelding of Johnson Bayou, LA; parents, Edward and Isabell Hebert; five brothers, Aubrey, Burrell, Ray, Lawrence and Alonzo Hebert all of Oberlin, LA; four sisters, Essie Fontenot, Bessie Chapman, Hazel Hyatt and Beatrice Ballard; son-in-law, Michael Eugene McKee of Baton Rouge, LA; grandson, Phillip Jeffrey Ratliff of Baton Rouge, LA; and step-grandson, Linard Lauve. Pallbearers will be: Scott Drost, Jeremy Drost, Jimi Erbelding, Archie Miller, David Ratliff and Davie Ratliff.
