Patricia Ann Davis, 66, of Sulphur, died peacefully at home with her family on June 4, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7th at 10:00 am at Henning Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Cain and Rev. Tracy MacKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church starting at 9:00 am on Thursday until the service; following, there will be a reception at Key Hall. Pat was a native of Monroe, LA, and a longtime resident of Sulphur. After graduating from Neville High School, she earned a degree in nursing from Northwestern State University and worked in the emergency room at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, TX. Pat was an active member of Henning Memorial United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, and she volunteered extensively in the community. She enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, and, most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by David Davis, her husband of forty-two years. She is also survived by her sons: Scott Davis and wife Robin of Austin, TX and Greg Davis and wife Jeannette of Metairie, LA; daughter: Laura Davis of Los Angeles, CA; brother: Rett Porter and wife Claire of Kerrville, TX; and grandchildren: Warren Davis of Austin, TX and Bryce Davis of Metairie, LA.
