Anita Louise Thibodeaux

January 7, 1961 ~ June 22, 2014

Anita Louise Thibodeaux, 53of Sulphur, passed away on June 22, 2014 in a local hospital. Anita worked many years for her dad in the family business, Jim's Tile and Marble Company. She loved camping, family and friends. Anita was a free spirited person who was a joy to be around. Anita is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Harris; a son, Brett Starnes; her mother, Louise Thibodeaux; 3 brothers, Michael, Phillip and Jeffery Thibodeaux; 4 grandchildren, Lindsey Anderson, Kyler Harris, Kay'Lynn Harris, Mason Henry and Manning Starnes; and her companion, Buddy Ellender. She was preceded in death by her father, James Thibodeaux. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 10a.m.-2 p.m. with a rosary at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will be entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home after the service.

  1. Anita and I first met in our preteens. She has always been such a kind, spunky, and witty person. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She will be greatly missed. The family will be in my thoughts and prayers. "To grieve, we must first have Love", God Bless

  7. Awwwww!!!!! Anita! I heard the news way up here in Michigan and I have such a heavy heart from learning of your passing. Oh ma gosh, did we have some good times.
