Cheryl "Sherry" Bergeron

September 26, 1946 ~ August 21, 2017

Cheryl “Sherry” Bergeron, 70, of Sulphur passed away on August 21, 2017. She was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church, and worked for the City of Sulphur as an accountant for over 20 years. She enjoyed hosting parties, playing pokeno and loved her grandchildren, family and friends.

Sherry is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Eddie Bergeron of Sulphur; 4 children, Ted Bergeron, Stephanie LeBlanc and husband Jeff, Barry Bergeron, and Garry Bergeron all of Sulphur; 2 grandchildren, Jace and Jenna LeBlanc; mother, Yvonne Suarez; and 2 brothers, Richard Suarez, and Kim Suarez and wife Pam all of Sulphur; and one sister in law, Denise Suarez of Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Suarez; and her brother, Ronny Suarez.

 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Andrews Kollannoor, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 3-8 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. followed by a Cursillo Rosary at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Thursday, August 24 at 8 A.M. at the funeral home until time of leaving for the church.
