Cladomire Joseph "Blackie" Boudreaux, Sr.

January 11, 1943 ~ July 30, 2021

Cladomire Joseph “Blackie” Boudreaux, Sr., 78, of Sulphur, our beloved Patriarch, passed away at 8:58 PM, Friday, July 30, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family.

He was a native of Golden Meadow, La and a longtime resident of Sulphur. Mr. Boudreaux was a member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church and made his Cursillo 100. He was employed at Mike Hooks LLC in Westlake for 22 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Beverly Landry Boudreaux; daughter, April Boudreaux; sons, C. J. Boudreaux, Jr. and wife Sara Evonne Boudreaux and Clarence Boudreaux; three grandchildren, Cladomire, Dustin, and John Paul Landry; three great grandchildren all of Sulphur, LA; sister Marie “Butch” Griffin and husband, A.J. of Marrero, La and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest T. and Hilda Marie (Bruce) Boudreaux; siblings, Clayton James Boudreaux, Lois Boudreaux Breaux, Isidore “Zee” Boudreaux and Ronald F. Boudreaux; father and mother-in-law, Clarence and Dorothy Landry.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church with Fr. Andrews Kollannor, MS officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, in the funeral home and continue from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM, Wednesday. A Cursillo Rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM Tuesday, in the funeral home.
