Clarence "Steve" Stephen Sonnier

July 27, 1965 ~ October 6, 2010

Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Steve Sonnier, 45, of Carlyss, will be held on Saturday, October 09, 2010 in St. Theresa Catholic Church at 12pm. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday, October 8, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel from 4pm " 9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm lead by the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 9th from 8am " until time of precession to the church. Mr. Sonnier passed away in a Houston hospital surrounded by his loving family. Clarence Stephen Sonnier was a native of Lake Charles & longtime resident of Johnson Bayou. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in Moss Bluff and had worked many years as a Pl ant Operator for Island Operators. He is survived by his wife: Lisa Sonnier, Sulphur 3 Sons: Charles Meaux & wife Merissa, Sulphur Cody Meaux & fiance Ashley Jo Landry, Sulphur Tyler Sonnier, Sulphur Daughter: Destiny Sonnier & fianc Judd Addison, Hackberry Brother: Donald Sonnier & wife Margaret, Moss Bluff 3 Sisters: Lerline Babineaux, Sulphur Rita Lois Credeur, Moss Bluff Joyce Hupperich, Lake Charles Grandson: Charles CJ Meaux, Sulphur Along with a host of other family & friends.

  1. To the family of Steve Sonnier, Steve was a great man, he always had asmile on his face and could always make me laugh. He was a great person to be a round. He will be greatly missed. My prayers will be with ya'll in this time of need.

  2. I have many, many fond memories of Steve and I growing up in Iowa. Playing with his electric football game, playing records on his Momma's record player. etc. Rest in peace my dear friend and tell our parents hello for me. Till we meet again one day.

  3. I was a part of your wonderful family for almost 10 years. During those years, I came to love you all very much. I just want to say how very sorry I am for your loss. Stevie was a great man with a crazy sense of humor. I know how much ya'll will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love you….

  5. Steve was one of a kind. He always had a smile for everyone, even when he was in pain. He was a giving and loving person and he really cared about his family and friends. I will miss him along with many others. Sympathy to Lisa and all the family.
