Clifford Alan Brooks Sr.

October 8, 1955 ~ December 3, 2023

Clifford Alan Brooks, 68, of Sulphur, passed away at a local care facility on Sunday, December 3, 2023, surrounded by his family. Clifford loved his fishing, hunting, and traveling on cruises with his family. He loved his dog, Karen, who he rescued. Clifford was always on the go, even when he was tired. He liked working with his hands, building things or working on the vehicles. No matter what, he always made time for his family. Clifford accomplished many things in his life, cruises to Jamaica, Cozumel, Alaska, Puerto Rico, he worked as a truck driver, pipefitter, and a welder.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elizabeth Brooks; son, Clifford Brooks Jr.; daughter, Tracy Brooks Guidry; sister Gloria Kurz; step-daughters, Rachel and Cory Gary, Deidra and Eli Alfred, Danielle and Donald Daigle, Tammy Foster; and bonus grandmother LouElla  Chaisson.

Clifford is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Vera Brooks; wife, Evelyn Brooks; sister, Kathy Lebert.

Funeral services for Clifford will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and extended family from 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
