Guestbook

  1. Our deepest condolences to Mary and Shellie and family and friends of Jim. Dee and I have been close friends with Jim and Mary for those 44 years and we will always remember him with great fondness. I was privileged to serve with Jim in the Army when we were both stationed in Key West in Air Defense Artillery under NORAD. I remember when Jim went back home to marry his bride Mary and bring her back to Key West area to their first home in Bay Point where we lived. We have been good friends ever since. Other memories include the car pooling to and from the base, the George Myra Pizza dinners, the interesting ride in the Huey helicopter on a one day surprise evaluation mission to the Homestead, FL site, to meeting Shellie Marie Clark for the first time on our return visit when were out of the service. Jim and Mary visited us in IL years later and we got to help them move Shellie into her new apartment when going to college in Kentucky. Every time we met or talked on the phone was a memorable, fun and enjoyable experience. We will never forget Jim Clark and will continue to stay in touch with Mary and Shellie. May the wind always be at your back my friend.

  2. Jim will be missed by many, My Father knew him, y older brother knew him and I knew him and rode with him on several rides. He was always a nice, nice man, and always asked how the family was doing. He will be missed. Our prayers are with the family. Vernon Boudreaux Lake Charles Chapter HOG Director

  3. I had the pleasure to work with Jim at lyondell for 13 years and when he would mow ditches by my house he would stop and have a chat He was fun to be around. Just a great guy. Jim will be dearly missed. God Bless and give the family the peace and strength to cope.

  4. Words fall short of expressing our sorrow for your loss. Please remember our thoughts and prayers remain with you during these times.

  5. All while growing up, I was told stories by my parents of their dear friends, The Clarks, down in good ol'LA. It was heartbreaking to hear from them of Jim's struggle with cancer. In finding out he lost that battle, I was deeply saddened. My sincere condolences to Mary, Shellie and the rest of Jims family and friends. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
