  5. A sleepless night for me. Knowing this happened to two young and bright folks not 10 minutes down the road hits close to home. Several several years ago I lost two cousins, nick and jim to a wreck. I passed the scene and hour or so later and there was a man, just standing there, all alone. I have no idea who he was or how he was associated with the victims, but if by chance you see this sir, you were on my mind all night. I wanted to stop. You were just staring up. You were alone and I knew even though you thought you wanted to be, that you shouldnt be. I kept driving though. Hesitation has its way of preventing you from doing what you should. I hope thru the darkness, you find light. Hold your head up like you were when I saw you. Never give in. To the family, I pray for your healing. I pray you smile when you make that curve, like I know anyone that age would do, singing along to the radio. Itll be hard, like it always is, but embrace it.
