Mary Wynne McGee

December 9, 1943 ~ April 27, 2018

Mary Wynne Bourgeois McGee, 74, of Sulphur passed away peacefully in her sleep after an extended illness. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and playing video games with her grandchildren. Mary loved to spend time with her family and will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Jolene McGee and Renee’ Loup and husband Kenneth all of Sulphur; 4 grandsons, Tyler Gaukel, Brett McGee and wife Brooklynn , Sean McGee and Ian Loup; a great-grandson, Dorian Spell; 3 sisters, Sylvia Jolet and husband Earn of San Antonio, Dorothy Cox of Nederland, TX, and Donna Goulart and husband Helder of Sulphur; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Opal Bourgeois; and her son, Dwight McGee.

                         

The family would like to thank the Golden Age of Welsh and the staff, Heart of Hospice, FMC of Jennings, Dr. Barron Newton, Dr. Abdel Shamat, and Michelle, and Trina Cooper.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

  1. Sorry for the loss of your loved one. At times like this it can be hard to lose people we care about, but just know that God sees death as the enemy 1 Corinthian 15:26 and he has resurrected people in the past and the Bible gives 8 instances to give us comfort here is one John 11:39-44. God is the creator of life Psalms 3 6:9 so he is capable of restoring life to our loved ones so take comfort that you will see your loved one again. The ultimate explanation from God is why we die the Bible answers this at Genesis 3:17-19 and Romans 5:12

  3. Sorry For Your Lost we are all prisoners of death there is no escape but GOD has the POWER To release US From death. Read 1Cor 15:26 imagine the relief when we don't have to worry about dying GOD Will remove death and will bring those who have already died BACK TO LIFE. ISA 26:19' JOHN 11:41-44 READ IT.
