Michael "Nicky" Craig Sonnier

August 4, 1971 ~ June 30, 2013

Michael Craig Nicky Sonnier, 41of Sulphur passed away on June 30, 2013 in his residence. Michael is survived by his wife, Kisha Sonnier of LeBleu Settlement; children, Sabrina Renee Sonnier, Gabriel Craig Sonnier, Michael Jude Sonnier and Myrline Maria Elizabeth Sonnier all of LeBleu Settlement; parents, Jerry and Carol Sonnier of Sulphur; brother, Jimmy Sonnier of Prairieville, LA; sister, Annette Kelly Weber of Houston, TX and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume on Thursday at 9 a.m. until time of the service.

  1. Nicky and I were friends in high school years ago I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing I remember he had a larger than life personality and I am sure he will be missed my condolences go out to his family for your great loss

  2. Just got the word when coming in from work and still trying to process this but wanted to let all the family know how sorry and grieved I was upon hearing this news today. Nicky and Par were my only childhood friends that I can remember my dad (that was B. Roy Mr. Jerry) actually telling me to invite over on a routine basis. He thought they had both hung the moon.   5. oh my goodness, how sorry we are to find out this terrible news. nicky was a dear friend of ours, weve known him since gradeschool. we will miss him dearly & we send our deapest condolences to his family! we are so very sorry!! we wish we would have heard sooner so that we could have attended the services held for him. he was just in north dakota with us, its really just hard to believe he's gone. he will be truley missed he had such a great heart he was a great person!! our prayers will be with his family!!
