Rebecca Lynn Vincent

May 13, 1969 ~ January 19, 2022

Rebecca Vincent,52, passed from this life into the arms of her loving Savior on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in a local care facility surrounded by her loving family.

Becky served our nation in the Air force from 1987 to 1991. She participated in Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Secure Communications. Combined with active-duty service, she had 22 years of government service from working for the Federal Aviation Administration. Becky was a member of the Sulphur American Legion, and the Krewe du Bon Coeur. She also served as Chief of C.A.B.S. (Caring and Beautiful Souls). Becky loved spending time with family and friends, having jam nights, traveling, spending time outdoors, and she loved to laugh!

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband, Kent Vincent; daughters, Megan Alexander (fiancée Braedan James), Alydia Marie Vincent, Jennifer Barbee (Timothy), Anna-Marie Bigham (Austin); mother, Linda Reon; brother, Arnold Reon; grandchildren, James Barbee, Ari Bigham, Riken Barbee, Aurora Bigham; several nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends.

Becky is preceded in death by her father, Tommie Lynn Reon; her grandparents; her granddaughter, Ryleigh Marie Bigham, and her precious, most loved corgi, Jazzy.

Funeral services will be held at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home on Tuesday January 25, 2022, at 10 am with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Edgerly. Father Terry to Officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday January 24, 2022, from 5 pm to 8 pm, with a recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm. Visitation will resume on Tuesday from 8 am until time of service.

  1. I am truly, deeply sorry for your family’s great loss. She wanted nothing more than to beat this cancer. My heart aches as I know how much she needed on this Earth. My deepest condolences.

  3. To Becky's entire family: such Love and Happiness Becky brought to everyone that knew her! We lost a good one, but I know we will all see her again. I'm really proud of her kids and how smoothly they handled it all. Peace be with you all.

  4. It was an honor and privilege to meet Becky and the rest of her family on a visit out to Lake Charles after the hurricanes hit SW LA. Her positive attitude and resilience through numerous challenges were and continue to be truly inspirational. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
