Renee Thibodeaux

December 21, 1955 ~ April 26, 2021

Phyllis Renee Thibodeaux,65, of Vinton, LA passed away on April 26, 2021 in a local hospital. Renee was born on December 21, 1955 in Sulphur, LA to Harry and Sadie Peveto.

She enjoyed cooking, planting flowers, crafts, and painting. Renee was known most of all for her loving nature with her grand children and great grandchild. She was a Sulphur High Graduate and lived most of her life in the Sulphur and Vinton area. Renee took great joy in caring for her family, her friends, and those who had no one to care for them. She dedicated 15 years to caring for her handicap clients with great love and devotion.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 42 years, Robert Thibodeaux of Vinton, LA; four children, Jennifer Dawn Kibodeaux and husband Michael, Christy Lepretre and husband Cody, Jessica Conner and husband David, Joseph Peveto and wife Monica; 9 grandchildren, Jeren, Paige, Meghan, Chance, Morgan, Kodi Rae, Lane, John and Layla; and one great grandchild, Olivia; four siblings, Randy Peveto and wife Katie, Jennifer Hughes, Russell Peveto and wife Patricia, Harry Peveto Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, RaDonna Peveto; and grandparents, Belle and Alton Monceaux.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.

The family respectfully asks that visitors wear masks and practice social distancing, adhering to local regulations regarding COVID-19.
